Sound Quality: Our pop, rock, and lo-fi tests produced clear, balanced output with minimal compression artifacts. Cinematic and ambient tracks were the strongest — lush, well-mixed, and musically coherent. On weaker prompts, we heard occasional artifacts, but they were easy to avoid by being specific about tempo, instruments, and vibe. In our scoring, ElevenLabs Music averaged 8/10 across genres.
Lyrics & Vocals: The platform generates complete lyrics and renders them into sung vocals. Vocal tone, phrasing, and pronunciation are noticeably more realistic than competitors we tested. Rhyme schemes and A/B testing different lyric patterns is quick. For professional releases, we still recommend a human lyric pass — but for demos and placeholders, it’s excellent.
Controls & Customization: Prompt style is “describe the track” rather than note-level editing.
